When you think of Easter what comes to your mind. Of course we should think about what the day is truly about. Church, the Resurrection of Christ, family, dressing up, and Easter dinner. But really, since we were kids, it was also about a bunny bringing a basket full of candy or going to an Easter egg hunt, getting plastic eggs filled with candy or the big winner, money. Since I was little, I have always loved Reese’s peanut butter eggs. My mom used to make homemade peanut butter eggs for us every year.Kids and adults alike will love these Peanut Butter Easter Bars. Perfect dessert to make for Easter brunch or dinner.

I decided this year to make a bar that adds another one of my favorite’s “Whoppers Mini Robins Eggs”. The mini malted milk eggs add a crunchy, not so sweet, touch to these bars. My family loved them. An easy, make ahead, treat for Easter Sunday.Kids and adults alike will love these Peanut Butter Easter Bars. Perfect dessert to make for Easter brunch or dinner.

When my youngest daughter “Ella” was seven, she painted this plate at school. I had to use it in the shot! Check out our ‘Cooking with Ella” page.

I just love that plate that Ella made! I still have a pottery frog that Sarah made and I just love it. These bars look delicious! I just love the Easter colors poking through.

What a pretty no-bake bar! This would be great for cooking with kids and could be adapted to use with all kinds of Easter (or non-Easter) candy!

Very sweet bunny plate! These sound so good! Are vanilla candy melts the same thing as the white chocolate ones? We have them in the bulk section of our grocery store but not sure they are vanilla. White chocolate would be good too I think!

Mmm…I sure wouldn’t mind a couple of these bars in my Easter basket this year! I used to love robin eggs but haven’t had them in such a long time. Combining them with peanut butter sounds delicious!

My goodness these are awesome, I’d have one but I think my teeth may hurt – need a visit to the dentist, a filling has fallen out 🙁 but will still admire these yummies.
