1 1/2tspJohnny's Garlic Bread Seasoning or garlic powder
1cupsharp cheddar cheese, shredded
1tspbutter
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Pork Chops
Heat oil in dutch oven or large heavy sauce pan on medium heat. Add onions and mushrooms and saute for 5-6 minutes . Add garlic, salt and pepper to taste and saute for 1-2 minutes. Remove mixture from pan and add seasoned pork chops..
Sear for 2 minutes on both sides. Brown pork chops in batches if needed, do not overcrowd pan. Remove pork chops from pan
Add wine and broth. Bring to boil and reduce by half. Add soup and whisk to combine.
Return mushrooms, onions and chops to pan. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes.
Remove chops and add cornstarch water mixture if needed to thicken gravy. Return chops and remove from heat. Keep warn until ready to serve.
Cheddar Grits
Add water, grits, salt, and garlic seasoning to 2 qt microwave safe dish. Cover and microwave on high for 6 minutes. Stir and microwave for an additional 6 minutes. Stir in cheese and butter. Microwave for 1 minute to melt cheese if needed.
Serve with Pillsbury Grands biscuits and frozen peas.
