There is nothing better on a cold day than a nice warm bowl of White Chicken Chili made with chicken, white beans, cumin, mild chilies and other spices.

Ingredients
2 14ozcans Great Northern Beans. Drained and rinsed. You can use 1 lb. dry beansfollow soaking directions on package
32ozchicken broth
1tbspolive oil
2medium onionsdiced
2clovesgarlic minced
2 4ozcans diced green chilies
1 1/2tbspground cumin
2tspdried oregano
1/4tspground clovesoptional
Cayenne pepper to taste
4cupscooked diced chicken.See recipe below:
Instructions
Heat oil in large pot over medium high heat. Add onions to oil and saute for 5 minutes.
Stir in garlic, green chilies and seasonings, cook for another 5 minutes, stirring often.
Add broth to pot. Bring to boil cook for 5 minutes.
Lower heat, add chicken and simmer for 1 hour.
Serve with cheddar cheese, sour cream, hot sauce, fresh cilantro, chopped onion and crackers.
