Chicken Parmesan Casserole Bake

This weeknight Chicken Parmesan Casserole Bake has all the flavors of your favorite Italian dish without all the mess of frying the cutlets.

Ingredients

  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 skinless boneless chicken breast, cubed
  • 2 cups prepared marinara sauce
  • 2 tbsp Italian seasoning
  • 2 cups package shredded mozzarella cheese divided, 8 ounce
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese divided
  • 2 cups garlic cheese croutons

Instructions

  1. Pre-heat oven to 375° F.
  2. Coat the bottom of a 9x13 inch casserole dish with olive oil, and sprinkle with garlic.
  3. Spread cubed chicken in bottom of the dish.
  4. Pour marinara sauce over chicken.
  5. Sprinkle Italian seasonings over marinara sauce.
  6. Top with half the mozzarella cheese and half the Parmesan cheese.
  7. Spread croutons evenly over cheese.
  8. Top with remaining mozzarella cheese and Parmesan cheese.
  9. Bake for 30-35 minutes until cheese and croutons are golden brown and the chicken is no longer pink inside and the chicken reaches an internal temperature of at least 160° F.
